Abhivyakti was organized in Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar College on the eve of 25th Anniversary of College, wherein various departments of colleges showcased their creativity by coming up with Innovative activities and showing a gist of their yearly up doings and flair. It took place on 29th February and 1st March where all the departments got an opportunity to put up diverse stalls and interact with other departments over the same. In the 2 day Event Business Economics was Awarded 1st Prize in Category “Best Business Idea”.

Established in the year 1995, Business Economics Department is one of the most active departments of the college. The department has been conducting various activities, International Symposiums, research projects; Radiance (The annual inter-college fest) and Spardha (the Sports meet) are few of them. The department also undertakes research projects throughout the year which gives the students an edge over the existing competition in their respective fields. Every year the department organizes its annual inter-college fest, 'Radiance', which is full of competitive events and attracts students from all over DU, this gives our students an exposure on skills of management. To give the students a practical knowledge and on-site experience, the department also organizes an industrial visit every year. The Business Economics department showcased their talents and skills which were carried out with under the guidance of Dr. Rajbala Gauttam and Mrs. Pratibha Verma. The Student Coordinators were Aman Singh Shrinet (BBE 2nd Year) Anuj Mighlani (BBE 2nd Year) Anisha Vijaya (BMS 3rd Year) Shivank Saxena (BMS 3rd Year). The department was allotted room number 9, which was a room large enough to accommodate the prodigious works of the department.
The Business Economics Department was assigned the theme ‘Start-Up Challenges”, giving a picture of the studies that are done by these students on a daily basis. A team of Students actively participated  from all three years combined not only presented their work meticulously and also 4 Students presented their Innovative Business Ideas for which the department was awarded “Best Business Idea Award”.
Business Ideas were:-
1)    Aman Singh Shrinet - Todo, is a Marketing Initiative. Todo is at it's nascent stage and is Spanish word meaning "Everything Within". Todo is a Marketing Magazine which caters the Promotional Needs of small shops and startups in a particular area. The main idea is to advertise product and services in a particular Target Market to increase reach of the product and services at minimum cost in a well design attractive booklet which will be circulated in a particular area.
2)    Abhishek Talwar - Bookandbook.co.in is a business proposal made under EDP Programme under micro small and medium enterprises conducted in our college and we also present it in Abhivyakti. Bookandbook.co.in is the online portal for second hand book sellers and buyers. Bookandbook.co.in is the one stop shop solution for readers and writers in the digital age. Our current service includes online book recycling and working towards the vision to make India read by easy access to books. It is an online portal where one can buy second hand books easily at its doorstep or can sell old book to our website by giving its isbn no. and other detail.
3) Antreeksh  -Project Enviroz  an online platform showcasing inspiring positive impact  generated by entrepreneurs, social organizations, corporate, engineers and clean tech enthusiast through short documentary videos, thematic workshops by organization leads and visiting sessions. It shall use the social media as a tool to educate the masses on sustainable development by sharing inspiring Indian specific Environmental stories.
4) Madhav Tiwari – Suvidhaa This project aims at providing a business model to underprivileged women.
Making them earn an extra amount for better livelihood, keeping the Sustainability aspect on the front.
Suvidhaa focuses on the recycling and empowering marginalized people.
Creating awareness about paper recycling and waste management.


 Photographs and reviews of the alumnus were also displayed, along with a write up about their journey after college. Stalls were put up which showcased the various research projects undertaken by the students during the year, in addition to the internships that the students had done in various companies to gain the much needed work experience which the corporate world demands in fresh graduates. The event ‘Brand Tambola’, a brand logo quiz with a hint of luck, took place and was organized by Antreeksh Verma and Madhav Tiwari both BBE 2nd Year and three prizes were also distributed to the winners.
The room was thronged by visitors from all the departments of the college. The judges were impressed by the department’s overall presentation. “Innovative and creative reflection by the students of Business Economics”, remarked a teacher from the psychology department. Dr. Pandeya appreciated the work of the department by saying, “Very Positive and creative approach. Go ahead promoting cleanliness’.  The day thus ended with delight among the motivated students and teachers.
The overall stall was a success and the Business Economics department received many positive comments and reviews and was highly appreciated by the respective Judges, Scholars, and dignitaries from various fields.  And was also appreciated by the Minister of Social and Justice Empowerment of Delhi Government Mr. Sanjeev Sharma and he asked one of the Student to make proposal of Business Idea and present that in the Ministry.

Battle Of Bands

    Battle of bands was organized by the I_novate society of Bhim Rao Ambedkar College to give an opportunity to those music enthusiasts music to the very end. Unlike other music competitions Battle Of Bands consisted of a whole group of musicians to perform, technically making a Band.  The competition was very intense throughout. The theme of the competition was there is no theme which made things even more interesting. Bands from all over the university participated and gave their best. The winning price of Rs 15000 was a catalyst which nobody wanted to lose. This was the firm time I_novate organized such an event and it took place on 22nd of February.

Radiance 2017

Radiance 2017


     The I_novate society of BBE department has again proven itself worthy by organizing such a thrilling event. Radiance 2017 was not only an event of two days, it was the witness of the immense effort by not only the students but also the enthusiastic teachers of Bhim Rao Ambedkar College. This event was a great platform which gave exposure to each and every person who took the effort of taking part in this event. The activities which were kept in the event were so interesting that the each player enjoyed it to the fullest also various positive feedbacks were received from the students who participated from across the university. The events were full of fun and well as equipped with the skills which could be required in the corporate sector.
